Let your doodles do the talking with a fun and simple summer Doodle Flip Flops DIY using the Bic Mark-it Metallic Markers!
Bic asked me to share these awesome Bic Mark-it Metallic Permanent Markers with you. At first I wasn’t too sure about what kind of fashion related project I could do with them. They work best on a porous surface, they aren’t great on fabric as they tend to bleed. So after a bit of brainstorming it hit me like a ton of rubber flip flops!
They dry really quickly! As I was working I didn’t have to worry about them smearing with my hand. Which is great cause I’m a lefty and that happens all the time!
They sent me an assortment of metallic colors which are really fun! The silver a gold are really classic, but I was surprised at how well the other colors show up. They’re really pretty.
I also used them in my sketchbook. Since I wanted to do doodles on my flip flops I had to get my inspiration just right.
I painted my sketchbook pages with acrylic paint first and then drew on top to get a better idea of how the colors would look.
The Bic Mark-it Metallic Permanent Marker eight pack are only available at Target, but you can also find other colors at Target and most any store that carries pens and online. I love all the other colors they have too! There’s a lot of possibilities with these Bic Mark-it markers, lets get creative!
This is a sponsored post. Bic sent me these markers to review and share with you.
Did you seal them afterwards? Did the Bic marker last after wearing them?
