Create a unique geometric design using hex nuts in this DIY Hex Nut Clutch. Turn a basic clutch into something unique and extraordinary!
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
- Clutch
- Hex Nuts (I used size #10-32 – about 60pcs)
- Glue
- Toothpick

Preparation:
I recommend you layout your hex nuts and decide your pattern before you start gluing. Then take a pic with your phone to work from.
Squeeze a small amount of your glue onto a paper towel or piece of foil and use your toothpick to apply the glue to your clutch.
step 2
Spread a small amount of glue on your bag (about enough to place one or two hex nuts), then press the hex nuts into the glue.
Continue this way until you have completed your design.
Let the glue dry.
I used 60 hex nuts for this bag, you can also play around with different sizes to create your design.
Just a note the hex nuts get really cold! LOL
This is such a simple way to add a big impact design to a basic clutch.
