Continue wrapping your ribbon around your headband adding small amounts of glue to hold it in place.

When you get to the other end, fold your ribbon over the end and use a small amount of glue to hold the ribbon.Spike Headband DIY Wrapping

step 3
Use a tape measure and a pen to mark where you want to place your spikes.

step 4
You can use the Aleene’s Jewelry & Metal Tacky Dots to hold your spikes to your headband or you can use your hot glue or E6000.Spike Headband DIY Tacky Dots

NOTE: I thought that these tacky dots would be a good idea for this but I wouldn’t recommend them for this. They do work great for metal on metal but not metal on ribbon, my cat knocked this headband off my dresser and all the spikes fell off. So… I recommend that you use hot glue or E6000 to attach your spikes.Spike Headband DIY Adding Spikes

step 5
After you’ve attached your spikes add your small studs in between your spikes using your hot glue to attach them.Spike Headband DIY Finished

You can add as many or as few spikes to your headband as you want. This would also look great with black ribbon and silver spikes.Spike Headband DIY Close Up
