Put that snow that’s piled up in your yard to good use with this simple technique of Snow and Ice Dyeing.

You can create some amazing colors and designs with this awesome technique for dyeing. I was really amazed at how easy it was and how cool it came out!
Using the dyes from the Tulip Tie Dye Kit makes it really easy too. There was more that enough dye in the bottle to do this project with lots left over for next time!
After dyeing my t-shirt I knew I wouldn’t wear it as it was, however, I have to admit that I was less than pleased at how my shirt turned out. We can chalk it up to a craft fail or we can just work with it. I think it does have potential, perhaps I just rushed it. Anyway, if you’re interested in dyeing some fabric or t-shirts this is a super easy way to do it with amazing results. It would be a great project to do with kids too! And if you don’t have snow around you can use ice cubes!

This is SO awesome, Cathy! I really love how you made it into a halter style, the pleating detail is my favorite. So well done, and such a great idea to use the snow!
