What youll need to make your Statement Necklace:
- 1 Piece of neon cord
- 3 Brooches
- Hot glue
Fold the ends of your neon cord over, making a small loop and glue.
Wrap your wire around the part of your neon cord that you just glued.
Add your pins.
Its really that simple.
With a big flashy statement necklace like this you dont need any other jewelry. You have your necklace and youre good to go. Dont be afraid to wear this much bling in the daytime either, mix it up with a T shirt and jeans or a chambray shirt and a long skirt. It will look amazing! You can even mix up your pins and swap them with others so you never wear the same necklace twice. The great part is that your pins arent forever on your necklace. You can use them again for more DIYs!
Stay tuned for my next DIY where I’ll show you another quick and fab project to make with these same supplies!
Really lovely… I have a question. Where actually did you buy the neon cord any cords at, what kind of store? Thanks.
Thank you so much! I bought the neon cords at Home Depot. It was less than $3 for a big roll.
Yah! Thank you!!! I’m gonna try these with friends, family & guests… something to do over the summer… Girls Night Out! ;)
