DIY TIE DYED SCARF
This project was definitely made because I’ve seen so many cute and bright scarves for spring but when I went looking for one I just didn’t like the ones I saw. So I made it! You can too, follow this super simple tutorial to make your own DIY Tie Dyed Scarf for summer!

DIY OFF THE SHOULDER TOP
Starting with an existing blouse it’s so easy to convert it into a super cute DIY Off the Shoulder Top. I’ve seen so many cute off the shoulder tops for summer, that I just knew I had to make my own!
DIY KENTUCKY DERBY HEADBAND
Add some colorful roses and some mini horses to a headband for an alternative to a big hat for the Kentucky Derby (or Cinco de Mayo) with this fun and festive DIY Kentucky Derby Headband!
This was supposed to be finished before the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, however, things didn’t quite work out. So I decided to make it into a cross over Kentucky Derby/Cinco De Mayo Headband. Both involve beautiful flowers, not really sure if the horses crossover but you get the picture.
KENTUCKY DERBY DIYS 2015
The Kentucky Derby is tomorrow! This is the most famous and the first of the three races in the Triple Crown. There is so much fun tradition around the race including; big fancy hats (of course!), flowers (run for the roses!), mint juleps (racing, I mean party planning, I mean DIYing is thirsty work!) and even horses (oh…right, kind of important!)
I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite DIYS inspired by the Derby and some drink recipes (each race has a signature cocktail)!
