<h5><a href="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wearable-diy/diy-studded-bracelets/#more-7117">GET WRAPPING &gt;</a></h5>
<p><span id="more-7117"></span></p>
<p><strong>This Lacoste bracelet</strong> was just one of the many bracelets I’ve seen that inspired me to make these DIY Studded Bracelets. This one just happened to really turn on the light bulb!<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7110" alt="DIY Studded Bracelets Inspiration" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-studded-leather-bracelets-inspiration.jpg" width="630" height="420" /></p>
<h2>TOOLS &amp; MATERIALS:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Leather (or pleather) laces ⅜ to ½ wide</li>
<li>Large closures</li>
<li>D rings</li>
<li>Jump rings</li>
<li>Studs or nailheads</li>
<li>Glue &#8211; I used Aleene’s Leather and Suede glue and Jewel-it</li>
<li>Pliers</li>
<li>Clothes pins</li>
</ul>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7115" alt="DIY Studded Bracelets Supplies" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-studded-leather-bracelets-supplies.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>TIP:</strong> Clothes pins are a really great way to hold your leather laces while the glue is drying. They’ll free up your hands so that you can add your studs while the ends are drying.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7114" alt="DIY Studded Bracelets Supplies 2" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-studded-leather-bracelets-supplies2.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 1</strong></p>
<p>Measure your leather laces by wrapping it around your wrist t least three times.</p>
<p>Be sure to leave about an inch on each end for folding over and remember that your closure will also add length to your bracelet.</p>
<p><strong>step 2</strong></p>
<p>Use a jump ring to connect your closure to one of your D rings.</p>
<p>Slide a D ring onto each end of your leather lace.</p>
<p><strong>step 3</strong></p>
<p>Using your leather and suede glue, put a small amount on the ends of your laces and fold over around your D rings.</p>
<p>Use a clothes pin to hold your ends while drying.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7113" alt="DIY Studded Bracelets Gluing the Ends" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-studded-leather-bracelets-ends.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 4</strong></p>
<p>Layout your leather lace on a flat surface next to a tape measure or ruler and determine the placement of your studs.</p>
<p>I put mine two inches apart.</p>
<p>When you are happy with your placement you can make a small mark on your leather lace for your glue with a pen.</p>
<p>Add a small drop of glue on each of your marks and set your stud or nailhead on top.</p>
<p>Let dry.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7112" alt="DIY Studded Bracelets Adding Studs" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-studded-leather-bracelets-studs.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 5</strong></p>
<p>If you are using studs with prongs on the back, you’ll want to fold them over. You can do this with pliers.</p>
<p>You can see how I do this in this <a href="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wearable-diy/studded-bag-diy/">video from the DIY Studded Bag. </a><br />
<strong>step 6</strong></p>
<p>Measure, mark and glue your studs on the same way I described in step 4.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7111" alt="DIY Studded Bracelets Folding Prongs" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-studded-leather-bracelets-studs2.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7116" alt="DIY Studded Bracelets Photo" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-studded-leather-bracelets-photo.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
These DIY Studded Bracelets are quick and fun to make. You can keep them clean and simple without adding studs or mix it up and add studs or rhinestones, whatever you like!</p>
<h5>Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know how yours turns out!</h5>

<h5><a href="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wearable-diy/martha-stewart-jewelry-charm-bracelet-and-cocktail-ring/#more-7035">LET&#8217;S MAKE JEWELRY &gt;</a></h5>
<p><span id="more-7035"></span></p>
<h2>TOOLS &amp; MATERIALS FOR CHARM BRACELET:</h2>
<p><strong>All supplies from <a href="http://bit.ly/marthajewelry" target="_blank">Martha Stewart Jewelry</a>.</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Custom Mold Making Kit</li>
<li>Jewelry Glue</li>
<li>Epoxy Clay</li>
<li>Initial Charms</li>
<li>Heart Chain</li>
<li>Rhinestones 6mm &amp; 10mm</li>
<li>Settings 6mm &amp; 10mm</li>
<li>Jewelry Glaze &#8211; Sea Green &amp; Light Gold</li>
<li>Jump Rings</li>
<li>Closure</li>
<li>Pliers</li>
<li>Brushes</li>
<li>Wax Tip Tool</li>
<li>Tweezers</li>
</ul>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7030" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Charm Bracelet Supplies" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-bracelet-supplies.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>Steps 1 through 6 will be the same for the charm on the Cocktail Ring.</strong><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7032" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Mold Making Supplies" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-mold-supplies.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 1</strong></p>
<p><strong>Get your mold ready.</strong></p>
<p>Once you’ve decided what object you want to use for your mold, (I used a plastic doll shoe for the charm bracelet) you’re ready to prepare your mold.</p>
<p>You will need something to pour your mold mixture into, I used half a toilet paper roll and taped up the end. It worked perfectly, because you will be tearing it off later.</p>
<p>Mix 1 oz of the silicone base with 1 tsp of the catalyst and stir with a wooden stick.</p>
<p>I did notice quite a few bubbles in my mix, I tried letting it sit as the bubbles would work their way up to the surface. I’m trying to learn more about how to keep that from happening and I will update this as I find out.</p>
<p>Pour your silicone mixture into your disposable form. (I used a cardboard toilet paper roll.)<br />
The instructions said to let it sit for about 3 hours but I tried that and my mold set and I wasn’t able to use it. So as long as the object you’re using isn’t too heavy, I recommend putting it in after a few minutes.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7029" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Mixing Molds" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-mixing-molds.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 2</strong></p>
<p>Just press your object in about halfway or a little more.</p>
<p>Since I used a doll shoe, I filled it with a paper towel. (Bad idea, it got a little stuck to the silicone!) Use something more solid or hard, like a clay. Just make sure it’s something you can remove when you’re done.</p>
<p>Let it sit and dry for about 6 hours or overnight.</p>
<p>When it’s dry take your object out of your mold.</p>
<p>While you are waiting for your mold to dry, you can skip ahead to step 7 and get your bracelet ready.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7027" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Shoe Mold 3" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-shoe-mold.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 3</strong></p>
<p>Using your epoxy clay, mix the two together. Be sure to follow the instructions on the package.</p>
<p>When your clay is ready start pressing it into your mold.</p>
<p>Start with the smallest areas first, the wax tip tool is great for pressing the clay into these areas.</p>
<p><strong>step 4</strong></p>
<p>When you have filled your mold with clay, get your finger wet and smooth the top.</p>
<p>Take one of your jump rings and press it into your clay. If you need too, add a little clay to hold it on.</p>
<p>Let your clay dry for 24 hours.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7025" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Shoe Mold" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-shoe-mold-smoothing.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 5</strong></p>
<p>When your clay is dry remove it from the mold.</p>
<p>If you have any rough edges you can sand them with a file or if they’re really bad you can use a sharp knife to remove them. Just be careful.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7026" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Shoe Mold 2" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-shoe-mold1.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 6</strong></p>
<p>Using the jewelry glaze, paint your charm.</p>
<p>I found the jewelry glaze to work pretty well, although you may need to paint more than one coat.</p>
<p>Let dry.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7021" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Painting with Glaze" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-shoe-paint.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7020" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Painted Shoe Mold" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-shoe-paint1.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 7</strong></p>
<p>Prepare your bracelet.</p>
<p>You can do this while you are waiting for your molds to dry.</p>
<p>Measure your wrist and cut your chain.</p>
<p><strong>step 8</strong></p>
<p>Add a closure to your chain.</p>
<p><strong>step 9</strong><br />
Choose your other charms and decide where you will place them.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7043" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Charm Bracelet Chain" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-bracelet-1.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 10</strong></p>
<p>I used the 6mm and 10mm rhinestones and settings.</p>
<p>A small amount of jewelry glue will hold them well.</p>
<p>I really like this jewelry glue, it seems to dry fairly quickly and holds well.</p>
<p>When your stones are dry use jump rings to attach them to your bracelet.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7044" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Charm Bracelet Stones" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-bracelet-stones.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 11</strong></p>
<p>Once your clay charm is dry, add another jump ring and attach it to your bracelet.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7095" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry DIY Charm Bracelet Photo" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-charm-bracelet-feature.jpg" width="630" height="420" /></p>

<strong>step 7</strong></p>
<p>Using your jewelry glue, place a small amount on the base of your ring and press it to the back or bottom of your clay charm.</p>

I was lucky enough to be chosen by blueprint social and Plaid Crafts to get to use these amazing products from <a href="http://bit.ly/marthajewelry" target="_blank">Martha Stewart Jewelry</a>. As you can see they were so generous with what they sent! You will be seeing a lot more DIY’s using many of these products and tools, because for one post I just couldn&#8217;t try everything! All of the products you see here are available exclusively at <a href="http://www.michaels.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-Michaels-Site/default/Search-AdvancedSearchPaging?cgid=products&amp;q=martha%20stewart%20jewelry&amp;q=%2a&amp;start=0&amp;sz=12" target="_blank">Michaels craft stores</a>.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7033" alt="Martha Stewart Jewelry Supplies" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ms-jewelry-main-supplies.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
I honestly LOVED using the custom mold making kit! It was so much fun, although waiting for everything to dry was a bit tough! And it did create a lot of bubbles. As I mentioned above, I’m trying to learn how to keep the bubbles to a minimum and as soon as I know I will share that with you. Other than that I’m really looking forward to making more molds.</p>
<p>All the products they sent were of high quality. I just wouldn’t recommend using the enamel on the clay. In their instructions they say you can, but I found it didn’t cover well and wasn’t drying. But the glaze worked perfectly!</p>

<strong>I was inspired to make this DIY Studded T-shirt after I saw this add for Botega Veneta.</strong> I think it’s just stunning and I knew it was way out of my price range, but with this DIY you can make a similar version for about $20!<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6976" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Inspiration" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-inspiration.jpg" width="630" height="420" /></p>
<h2>TOOLS &amp; MATERIALS:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Large V-neck t-shirt (I bought a <a href="http://www.target.com/sb/shirts-clothing-men/tee-shirts/-/N-5xu28Z55ywp#?lnk=lnav_featured categories_1&amp;intc=818068|null" target="_blank">men&#8217;s t-shirt at Target</a>)</li>
<li>Trim (I bought mine at <a href="http://www.mjtrim.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?limit=all&amp;q=beaded+trim" target="_blank">M &amp; J Trimming</a>)</li>
<li>Studs (I bought mine at <a href="http://www.mjtrim.com/9-x-9mm-medium-prymid-nailhead.html" target="_blank">M &amp; J Trimming</a>)</li>
<li>Embroidery floss</li>
<li>Large sharp needle</li>
<li>Needle and sewing thread</li>
<li>Scissors</li>
<li>Pins</li>
<li>Sewing machine</li>
<li>Pliers</li>
</ul>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6964" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Supplies" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-supplies.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 1</strong><br />
Lay your t-shirt out and cut off the sleeves and the neck band.</p>
<p>I used a large mens t-shirt for this project. I recommend a t-shirt that is a few sizes larger than you would normally wear, that way you will have lots of fabric to make your gathers and for your t-shirt to drape a bit.</p>
<p><strong>TIP:</strong> I recommend you try your t-shirt on frequently while you are making this top to make sure everything is where it should be.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6965" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Cutting 1" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-cutting-1.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 2</strong><br />
<strong>Fold your t-shirt in half the long way making a fold down the center front.</strong></p>
<p>Cut the front of your t-shirt open from the bottom of the V-neck to the bottom hem.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6966" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Cutting 2" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-cutting-2.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 3</strong><br />
Pin your two sides together down the center front where you cut.</p>
<p>Using your embroidery floss and your large needle, sew your seam by using a large blanket stitch.</p>
<p>Sew this seam all the way down to the bottom hem.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6967" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Sewing 1" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-sewing-1.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 4</strong><br />
Using your needle and sewing thread, sew gathers across the front of your t-shirt, right under the bottom of your V-neck.</p>
<p><em>Try your t-shirt on to make sure you’ve gathered it enough.</em> I made my gathers about five and a half inches across.</p>
<p>When you are happy with the width of your gathers secure your thread at the end and sew back through another time across your gathers and secure your thread.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6968" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Sewing 2" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-sewing-2.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 5</strong><br />
Measure your trim and leave at least one inch extra on either side to fold over.</p>
<p>Layout your studs and decide where you will place them.</p>
<p>Push your studs through your trim and fold the prongs over to hold them in place.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6969" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Trim and Studs" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-tape-studs.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6970" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Trim and Studs 2" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-tape-studs2.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 6</strong><br />
When your trim has all the studs attached, pin it to the front of your t-shirt on top of your gathers. Wrapping the ends of your trim around to the backside to hide.</p>
<p>Using your needle and sewing thread sew your studded trim to your t-shirt.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6971" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Trim and Studs 3" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-tape-studs3.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><br />
<strong>step 7</strong><br />
<strong>Try your t-shirt on.</strong> If your t-shirt is hanging a bit on the sides, turn it inside out, put it on and pin it starting at the armhole to bring it in tight.</p>
<p>Continue pinning down the side of your t-shirt gradually angling out towards the seam.</p>
<p>Sew this seam with your sewing machine.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6972" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Sewing Sides" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-sewing-sides.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 8</strong><br />
Turn your t-shirt right side out and try it on.</p>
<p>Fold and pin a small tuck in the back right at the center of the neckline.</p>
<p>You can also fold the top edge over too to make it look smoother.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6973" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Back Tuck" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-back-tuck.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 9</strong><br />
Cut another piece of your trim to attach to the center back of your t-shirt.</p>
<p>I cut mine about 10 inches, this left me enough space to fold it over at the top and bottom to make it look clean.</p>
<p>Pin your trim to your center back starting at the top and using your needle and thread sew it to your t-shirt.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6974" alt="DIY Studded T Shirt Back Trim" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-back-trim.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 10</strong><br />
Using your embroidery floss and your large needle, sew a decorative blanket stitch along the front armholes of your t-shirt.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6977" alt="DIY Studded T-Shirt Sew Sides" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-sew-sides1.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7013" alt="DIY Studded T-Shirt Close Up" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-close-up.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7009" alt="DIY Studded T-Shirt Back View" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-back.jpg" width="630" height="840" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7011" alt="DIY Studded T-Shirt Photo" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/bv-emb-t-shirt-photo1.jpg" width="630" height="840" /><br />
This was a really fun DIY to make, I love turning something plain and utilitarian into something spectacular. You know there’s some kind of potential in there, it just needs to be brought out.</p>

<li><span style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">Plastic canvas</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">Yarn &#8211; two colors</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">Needle</span></li>

<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6881" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Supplies" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-supplies.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><br />
<strong>step 1</strong><br />
<strong>Measure your plastic canvas.</strong></p>
<p>I recommend having your glasses handy while you are measuring your plastic canvas to make sure you cut it the right size.</p>
<p>I cut mine 7 ½ inches by 6 ¾ inches.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6872" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Measuring" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-1.jpg" width="630" height="420" /></p>
<p><strong>step 2</strong><br />
<strong>Decide on your pattern.</strong></p>
<p>I used a simple staggered zig zag pattern, with two rows of each of four colors.</p>
<p><strong>step 3</strong><br />
<strong>Start needlepointing!</strong></p>
<p>I started working in the bottom lefthand corner and worked diagonally up and across. Depending on the pattern you choose you can either work this way or straight across from left to right.</p>
<p>Be sure to tie in your ends very well. You don’t want your needlepoint to come undone.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6873" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Needlepointing" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-2.jpg" width="630" height="630" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6874" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Needlepointing 2" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-3.jpg" width="630" height="324" /></p>
<p><strong>step 4</strong><br />
When you’ve filled up all of your plastic canvas with your pattern, using the color you’ve chosen for your edge sew along the top edge.</p>
<p><strong>I sewed two stitches in each hole to keep any of the plastic canvas from showing through.</strong><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6875" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Top Edge" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-42.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6876" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Top Edge Finished" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-51.jpg" width="630" height="420" /></p>
<p><strong>step 5</strong><br />
<strong>Fold your plastic canvas in half</strong> and sew it together along the bottom and the side, when you are finished tie in your ends.<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6877" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Folding" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-62.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6878" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case Finished" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-7.jpg" width="630" height="420" /><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6879" alt="DIY Plastic Canvas Glasses Case" src="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/diy-pc-glasses-case-8.jpg" width="630" height="420" /></p>
<p><strong>I’ve suddenly found myself will several pairs of sunglasses and no cases,</strong> so there was nothing left to do but make one!</p>
<p>The larger squares in the plastic canvas really lend themselves to graphic patterns and bold colors.</p>
<p>Plastic canvas is a really fun and quick way to get a needlepoint look but have it be really sturdy and even sculptural. Because it’s plastic you can even leave parts unsewn, there are just so many options. For another project I made recently check out this <a href="http://www.trinketsinbloom.com/wearable-diy/diy-plastic-canvas-clutch/" target="_blank">DIY Plastic Canvas Clutch.</a></p>
