step 2

I prefer to use the inner hoop from my embroidery hoop, 1) because it’s smaller and fits my wrist better and 2) because it’s closed.

That said once you’ve used up all your inner hoops sometimes you’ve got to use the outer hoops.

First unscrew the pin in the top of the hoop.

Then using your pliers, bend the metal pieces down so they lay flat across your hoop.

If you’re careful, you can take the metal part completely off.

step 3

Starting in the middle of your strip, start wrapping your bandana around your embroidery hoop.

TIP: Wrap your ends in opposite directions so that when you get to the end they will be on opposite sides and you can tie them together.

step 4

When you are finished wrapping, tie your ends together leaving the ends like a little bow.

If you don’t want to have a tie on your bracelet, you can cut off the hemmed edge of the bandana and glue your ends down.

step 5

When you’re done wrapping you can add rhinestones or studs to your bangles if you want.

This project was voted on by a select group of my email subscribers.
